September a three-year-old filly, Summitville, carried with her just such dreams when she attempted to win the St Leger. Pam Cockerill looks back on that day in the company of four people whose hopes and ambitions focused on Summitville getting the one mile, six furlongs and 32 yards "trip" at the Doncaster racecourse.
