The Name of Jesus
The sign of Jonah in the whale's belly was taken by Jesus as a prophecy of his own death and resurrection. Tavener has tried to bury his western musical preconceptions and has found new life in the simplest and most innocent of musical gestures. Presented by Fiona Talkington.
