'Poverty in Plenty'-1 ' Placing the Field' GRAHAM HUTTON

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

It is the aim of this Discussion Group series to examine a number of questions arising out of the complexities of the economic position in the world today. The purport of the series can be summed up in the question : In what does the ' economic problem ' consist ?
Mr. Graham Hutton (Assistant Editor of the Economist) will act as ' 'Editor' throughout. He will introduce the series this evening, and will also come to the microphone at the end of each single talk by the various experts and give a short summary of the important points that have been raised. In this way Mr. Hutton will link up each talk with the preceding and succeeding ones, and to the general theme of the series.
Leaders and members of Discussion
Groups should write for the pamphlet, ' Talks for Discussion Groups, Winter 1934-5 ', obtainable from the B.B.C. Publications Department, price 2d., post free.
