As a prelude to Radio 3's Weimar Weekend Michael Berkeley talks to Robert David MacDonald , who for many years has directed distinguished productions at the Citizens' theatre in Glasgow. His work there has included a new translation of Goethe's
Tasso and a new production of Faust. Music includes works by Bach, Liszt, Strauss, Verdi, Thomas, Bellini, Schubert and Prokofiev. Executive producer Wendy Thompson Repeated tomorrow 6.30pm
