The soldiers who came to the village of Overcombe and won the hearts of the young ladies had little idea that they'd end up as dust on the battlefields of Salamanca, Toulouse and Waterloo. For one particular soldier, affairs of the heart were complicated by a rival who was not only a sailor, but also his brother.
