Goodbye to All That

on BBC Radio 4 FM

In the third of four programmes looking at the world's creative communities, Simon Parkes visits what was once the pilchard capital of the world - St Ives in Cornwall. He discovers that in the late 19th century, artists were attracted there by the light, the sea air and the pagan landscape. Today the town is home to the Tate Gallery, St Ives and a new generation of creatives. Producer David Prest
