Bachelor girl Jan Morrow intensely dislikes songwriter Brad Allen although they've never met. The two share a party line which Brad monopolises in calling his numerous girlfriends. When they do meet, however, Jan, unaware of his real identity, soon finds herself falling in love.
Pillow Talk marked the first pairing of the most successful romantic comedy partnership of recent years, Doris Day and Rock Hudson.
