Education and the Working Class is the tide of a recently published survey by Brian Jackson and Dennis Marsden. It documents the difficulties of 88 working-class children at grammar school in Marburton between 1949-1952. Mr. Clegg, in whose area of responsibility Marburton lies, has read the book and draws his own conclusions.
