Facing Up to AIDS: To Test or Not to Test

on BBC One London

Presented by Angharad Mair and Adrian Mills with The Go Go Boys and David Miller, AIDS counsellor and psychologist at Middlesex Hospital.

Someone found to carry the AIDS virus could lose their job, their home, their friends, their future. Until effective medical treatment is available, counsellors urge people to weigh up carefully the merits and dangers of being tested. Jan was looking forward to getting married and having a baby, but now she fears that a past affair could bring all her hopes to a sudden end. Should she take the test?
