View in Radio Times

presents ' Why Work? '
What's in it for me?
The record of a journey by hitch-hike up the Great North Road, in search of an Al under-twenty in an Al job
Tony Gibson set out on foot to find a random sample of the younger and older generations. In the course of four days on the road with a portable midget tape recorder, the driver of every vehicle who offered a lift was persuaded to quote, unscripted, from his or her first-hand experience of under-twenties in jobs. These contributors include company directors, a doctor, lorry drivers, a farmer, a jockey, and a vet
At the point where each ' lift ended, the first under-twenties encountered were invited to record unscripted their opinions of their Jobs and their bosses, and to explain what it is about a job that makes you want to stay on or to get out
