Captain Evelyn Waugh and Major Randolph Churchill are seeing out the last of the war as part of the 37th Allied military mission to the Balkans. Theirfriendship is put to the test when Waugh finds himself at odds with the Allied policy of supportingthe emerging communist regime led by Tito.
