Edith Piaf is known as 'The Queen of French Song.' This film retraces her legendary life, from her birth on a pavement in the slums of Paris in December 1915 to her death in 1963 at the age of 47. Helping to tell her extraordinary story are her two husbands, friends and colleagues.
