Neurobiologists Dr Jeff Hall and Dr Bambos Kyri acou of Brandeis University, Boston, discuss with Peter Evans how their work on Stuck and other mutants has allowed unique insights into normal behaviour, and led them to ask - ' what makes the fruit fly tick?'
