Antoine is on the run - from a band of gypsies who hold him responsible for the deaths of their children in a plane crash. His presence at a shooting in Montreal leads him to be taken hostage by a gang who are planning a final grand caper. Tension mounts as the gypsies close in on their country retreat and Antoine is compelled to turn criminal.
