The twice-weekly series pays its penultimate visit to Liverpool's Alder Hey children's hospital. After undergoing three months of chemotherapy, 19-month-old Kieren [text removed] has surgery to remove his liver tumour.
Meanwhile two-year-old Ryan [text removed] , who was born with chronic kidney failure, begins treatment to improve his quality of life, and surgeon Rick Turnock tackles a full theatre list.
The final programme is tomorrow at 8.30pm
