Tonight Professor Alan Gemmell visits York Gate in a suburb of Leeds.
This is the garden which surrounds the house of Mrs Sybil Spencer and her son Robin. It is a garden which Mrs Spencer and her late husband started to develop 30 years ago and which now she and her son continue to create today. Indeed, there are many who claim that it is the finest small garden in England.
