William Conway (cello) and Peter Evans (piano), are joined by the violinist Elizabeth Layton and clarinettist Yann Ghiro , both principals with the BBCSSO. Nigel Osborne 's Adagio for solo cello, was played by Vedran Smailovic in Sarajevo afterthe recent civil war, and became a symbol of hope for his countrymen. Introduced by Sandy Burnett.
