on Light Programme

View in Radio Times

Repeated on Tuesday at 11.15 a.m.
The Mayor of Parkwood Hill died suddenly. Ivor Mitchell had been sent for but was delayed, and when he arrived the mayor was dead; gossip has been going around accusing Ivor of neglect. Philip developed tonsilitis, and Gwen has been staying away from work. Louie Harrison 's niece Louise, who has recently qualified as a doctor, came to ask Dr. Dale's advice about general practice. Mr. O'Malley came to see Mrs. Freeman about gossip he had heard concerning Elsie and the will; Mrs. Freeman thinking of the previous will, told Mrs. Bell Norton that Elsie had forged it. When she told the Dales what had happened, they explained about the new will. This has now been proved and the villa definitely belongs to Elsie.
