Keyboards maestro Joe Zawinul - the man who turned Miles Davis onto electric keyboards and founded pioneering jazz-rock group Weather Report - makes a triumphant return to the UK with the latest incarnation of his
Syndicate, featuring Victor Bailey on bass, Garry Poulson on guitar,
Manolo Badrena on percussion and Kirk Covington on drums. The programme also includes interviews with Zawinul and with another jazz maverick, pianist Matthew Shipp.
