The second part of a radio travelogue based on a 30,000 mile flight to Australia and back, arranged for the BBC by courtesy of the B.O.A.C. Written and produced by Leonard Cottrell. Music specially composed by William Alwyn , and played by an orchestra under the direction of John Hollingsworth
In the first programme, broadcast on August 2, Cottrell described his flight as far as Cairo. Tonight's programme reconstructs the rest of the flight to Iraq. Australia, and back to Cairo, via Southern Arabia
