Edinburgh Military Tattoo

on BBC One London

The floodlit esplanade of Edinburgh Castle is the stage for more than performers from three continents to celebrate this year's theme - the bicentenary of the death of poet Robert Burns. In addition to the traditional massed bands, the tattoo features Zulu dancers from the South African Police Service whose spectacular routines culminate when they join the pipes and drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards to perform a specially composed piece, Introduced by Tom Fleming.
