Yesterday, the Thames lighter-men raced their barges from Greenwich to Westminster. To mark the occasion their vessels were decorated and this year the theme was 50 years of Walt Disney. Once again ROGER CLARK was on the umpires' tug Kildar to describe the scene, and the guest of honour, who presented the trophies, was the Secretary of State for Transport The Rt Hon William Rodgers.
