(New Series-Sixth Edition)
An up-to-date sound-strip compiled and arranged at the eleventh hour by a battery of writers and musicians who present to you a series of light-hearted commentaries on The News of the Day
Production by Robin Russell
This is one of the few features in broadcasting which is not prepared until the eleventh hour, as its aim is to deal in a light-hearted manner with the news of the day. The writers and composers cannot get a start until they know precisely what the news of the day is going to be. On the day when the programme is to be presented authors and musicians take off their jackets, and, under the eye of Robin Russell , get down to work.
