The Variety Club Awards for 1986

Earlier today, at the London Hilton on Park Lane, the Variety Club of Great Britain announced the winners of the 35th Annual Show Business Awards.
Lord Delfont and the Chief Barker, Harry Goodman , made the presentations to honour, amongothers, the 1986: Stage Actress and Actor; Film Actress and Actor;
BBCtv and ITV Personalities; BBC Radio and Independent Radio Personalities; and the premier award to the Show Business Personality for 1986.
Established in October 1949, the Club works exclusively to aid handicapped and deprived children, and during its
37-year-old career has raised some E50 million towards this end.
