Kind-hearted Wilbur Hoolihan 's troubles begin when he feeds a stick of peppermint candy to a horse belonging to cab driver King O'Hara - and the horse dies! Anxious to replace the animal, Wilbur and his partner Grover buy a horse, as they think, from three shady characters, Umbrella Sam , Harry the Horse and Chauncey the Eye. But the boys, of course, manage to collect the wrong steed ...
