PARENTS AND CHILDREN

† Hothouse Children
An investigation by ALAN BLAIKLEY
Recently, a full-time school for child musicians was opened in London. Similar schools for budding actors and dancers already existed. Is it fair on a child to segregate him, perhaps at the age of six or seven, in such a school? What sort of general education does he get? How many children fulfil their parents' hopes or their own youthful promise?
