The British Monarchy, as an institution, should remain the same for the next 25 years. It is proposed by Nicholas Fairbairn , QC, mp (Con) and opposed by Anthony Howard , Editor of the New Statesman.
Each advocate will call his witnesses, cross-question his opponent's, and argue his case. The jury will vote at the beginning and end of the trial so that a swing of opinion may be measured and a verdict reached. Producer HUGH PURCELL
