John Wesley , founder of Methodism, rides again through the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, as local preacher Richard Pater dons 18th-century dress, mounts the broad back of Hercules and visits some of the historic sites of Mr Wesley's day. In Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall, Todmorden and Halifax he meets schoolchildren, tourists and the Methodists who still thrive in the area; and he preaches from a pulpit Mr Wesley used.
