Birdwatch

on BBC One London

Live from Martin Mere
The first of three live reports from one of Britain's finest natural refuges for Arctic wildfowl. Pink-footed geese, bewick's swans, whooper swans, hosts of ducks and waders are all within range of four live cameras (including a remotely-controlled one) far out in the bogs and marshes of Lancashire.
Tony Soper and Roger Lovegrove have come to see tens of thousands of migrants which have flown south to enjoy the warmth of a British winter.
