It is often said that in economic matters the questions are always the same, and only the answers differ. Next week's Summit Meeting to discuss the world crisis once again emphasises the difficulties of economic management even in a post-Keynesian world. Those taking part may well be asking the same old questions, but are they the right ones?
Peter Oppenheimer discusses these topics with an international panel of economists, including Wilfred Beckerman of Balliol College, Oxford, Professor Carlos Diaz-Alejandro of Yale, and Frederick Berg sten of the Brookings Institution in Washington.
