A hard-bitten sea captain loses one of his hands at sea ... an old lighthouse keeper grief-stricken at the death of his son.... sinister requests to be transferred to a certain lighthouse.... a ship seeking the friendly winking light in dirty weather ... suddenly the light fails ... This Jingle-like impression of Sea Wrack will give listeners some idea of what to expect. The play, specially written for the microphone, is the work of Harry S. Gibson , a young Belfast schoolmaster, who has been responsible for many lyrics and sketches in radio revues produced in Northern Ireland in recent years.
