4: Lazarus. Lazarus lived with his two sisters Martha and Mary in the little village of Bethany, about half an hour's walk from Jerusalem. When he fell ill, the sisters asked Jesus to come and heal him. But by the time Jesus arrived, Lazarus had been dead for four days.
