One Million Years BC

on BBC One London

starring
Raquel Welch
John Richardson
When Tumak , son of Akhoba, leader of the Rock People, fights with his brother,
Sakana, he is banished from the tribe. He joins the Shell People, a more advanced society than his own, and meets the beautiful Loana. Life in prehistoric times seems to have been a rather hazardous business as Raquel Welch - sporting a memorable bear-skin bikini - finds out in this spectacular stone-age saga; her co-stars include a brontosaurus, a triceratops, a giant lizard and a hungry pterodactyl.
Screenplay by MICHAEL CARRERAS Based on the story by MICKELL NOVAK
