Before winning international acclaim as a film-maker (Nanook of the North, Moana. Man of Aran, Louisiana Story), Robert Flaherty made several expeditions as an explorer among the Eskimos in the Far North of Canada.
Here were a people with less resources than any people on earth yet they were the happiest people I have ever known.
