3: Dvorak. Dvorak was deeply attached to his home in the Czech countryside and missed it desperately whenever he had to travel. Nevertheless, he came to
Britain nine times in all and scored some of his major triumphs here, with choral works at Birmingham,
Leeds and the Royal Albert Hall , and with the great cello concerto, premiered in London on Dvorak's last visit in 1896. Including:
