CONSTANT LAMBERT'S Music Ho! was one of the most stimulating and influential books to appear in. the thirties and Lambert's views on the second Viennese school. Stravinsky, and Sibelius gained wide critical acceptance at the time. Yet most present-day critics would challenge his evaluation of these composers.
