Orchestra in Bonn, Franz Ries , was very good to the young Beethoven, especially when his mother died. In return, years later, Beethoven taught Franz's son Ferdinand in Vienna, who promoted Beethoven's music and gained the commission by the Philharmonic Society of London for Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
