at the Organ of the Plaza Cinema, Swansea
Tom Jenkins, of the Plaza, Swansea has broadcast considerably over 200 times. Last summer he broadcast tor the first time on the BBC Theatre Organ. His most painful memory is of his first broadcast to the Empire, when he was still suffering from a sprained ankle through falling down a flight of steps four days before. Determined not to miss the broadcast, he had the swollen ankle massaged every hour for four days, finishing up with a last-minute massage in the front seats of the cinema - and got through.
