After 16 days of supreme international sport the 28th Olympic Games reaches a spectacular conclusion in a traditionally colourful closing ceremony at the main stadium in Athens. Thousands of competitors from over
200 countries will get their chance to wave goodbye to the crowds, celebrate their achievements and watch the entertainment as the Olympic flame is extinguished and the spotlight is turned on the Chinese capital of Beijing, the host city for the 2008 Games.
