When President Kennedy said in his inauguration speech that America would 'pay any price' to preserve freedom, he could not have realised that the price would include his own life. Neither could he have imagined that defending freedom would lead to the ruthless sacrifice of the minds of innocent people. This is the story of part of the price that was paid. It may seem incredible, but it is based on fact.
