News Summary MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Robert Turley
Produced by Betty Davies and Keri Lewis
Vicky Clare went to see Kate, and found her very cheerful; she said that her letter to Jenny meant nothing. The refrigerator was re-raffled, and this time Gwen won it. Mrs. Dale helped Isobel Fielding to move into her new house.
Gwen started her job with Ransome.
Grandfather Dale gave a family dinner party, at which Flora appeared wearing what appeared to be a diamond bracelet. Ellie and Roy were very worried about it because they thought their mother had paid for it, and Joan was worried too because she thought Grandfather Dale had given it to her. In fact, the bracelet was not diamonds but paste.
