Film 91 with Barry Norman

on BBC One London

A critical look at the week's cinema releases.

The Addams Family is a new film based on the American hit television series of the 60s. Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia give a fresh interpretation to the ghoulish antics of Morticia and Gomez, while Christopher Lloyd arrives claiming to be long lost Uncle Fester in this funereal romp.

Fievel Goes West, the sequel to An American Tail, is a cartoon feature employing the talents of a team of London animators, and the voices of John Cleese, James Stewart and Amy Irving.

And Film 91 goes on location with Blame It on the Bellboy. Dudley Moore heads the cast in a farce based on mistaken identities and Mafia contracts. A Venetian hotel was built in a Shepperton studio for the film.
