on BBC One London

with Barry Norman
The London evening newspaper
The Standard held their British
Film Awards in the West End last night. This has been an especially exciting year for the film industry in this country and these are the only awards which put exclusively
British films in contention with each other. Film 83 was there to cover the proceedings. Among the eligible films: Betrayal, Local
Hero, Gandhi, The Ploughman Lunch.
