Readings from the original unpublished version of Clare's The Shepherd's Calendar are to be broadcast monthly in the Third Programme throughout this year to mark the centenary of the poet's death. Tonight's speaker, Eric Robinson , in collaboration with Geoffrey Summerfield , is preparing a new edition of The Shepherd's Calendar to be published this spring.
