starring and On a stakeout to catch a psychopathic killer, Detective Sergeant Tom Valens spots an intruder at a nearby department block. He pursues the man, who draws a pistol, but Valens fires first and kills him. Seemingly, it is a simple case of self-defence. but when no gun can be found Valens is accused of murder. His attempts to clear himself uncover a web of conspiracy and corruption which he must get to the centre of before he runs out of time.
