Eccentrics
With Peggy Reynolds.
2: Stravinsky declared Lord Berners the most interesting British composer of the 20th century. But music was only one of his many pursuits. Another was entertaining fashionable guests in his Oxfordshire home, where his doves where painted all the colours of the rainbow and famous sculptures were put into the fishpond. Although very much the aristocratic dilletante, Berners was a fine composer whose works are only now coming back into fashion.
