Tonight's concert features Ton Koopman's reconstruction of a lost work by Bach. Only the text of the St Mark Passion survives from its first performance on Good Friday 1731, but Koopman has followed the musical clues it suggests and Bach's own ways of working to prepare a new performing edition.
