Running away from her pompous husband, Catherine Crocker unwittingly becomes involved in a train robbery. She is taken hostage by Jay Grobart , leader of the gang, and forced to flee with them into mountain country. This spectacular Western develops into an unusual love story as Catherine learns of the secret that has driven her kidnapper to become an outlaw.
