When Tom and Huck were exploring for buried treasure in an old haunted house, they overheard Indian Joe and Pard planning to hide their gold in 'den number two under the cross'. They searched but only found a Temperance Tavern full of whisky bottles. Huck reckons they haven't seen the last of Joe.
