During his career Enrico Caruso (1873-1921) made recordings of many of his most celebrated operatic roles. Despite their technical imperfections these recordings preserve something of his phenomenal talents as a singer and interpreter.
Like all singers NIGEL DOUGLAS reveres Caruso and in this personal tribute to his artistry he includes extracts from L'Elisir d'Amore, L'Africaine, Rigoletto. 11 Trovatore, La Bohème, The Pearl Fishers and Pagliacci. Producer ALAN HAYDOCK followed by an interlude
